I run a hotel in Port Douglas (1, 2 and 3 bedroom serviced apartments) and am also a PADI dive instructor myself. I don't have time to teach any more, but am looking to partner with a dive operation to provide dive and accommodation packages for 2011 and beyond.
If you are local or from overseas and want a partner on the Great Barrier Reef, drop me a line.
One more point to add. A friend of mine is about to become a Course Director, and wishes to relocate to Port Douglas. I will therefore be looking to potentially run IDC's out of the hotel, with the help of local boats for trips to the reef itself. I do not wish to start my own dive shop, but am happy to explore ways to link what I have on offer with an existing operator - either local or foreign.....
