Looking For The Perfect Water Shoe/dive Boot

In my quest to streamline and lighten my dive gear I am looking for a water shoe that can double as boots for my fins when diving. I am wondering if anyone here has experienced a product like this that may have some recommendations. I have the scubapro spring straps on my fins if that helps at all, thanks.

NRS (Northwest River Supply) has quite a variety of watershed. Their market is mostly kayak-canoe-raft users. I have used their Kicker model shore diving off Bonaire and boat diving in warm water.

I dive OTB (Over the Beach) Abyss. They're not that light, but I love them. They were developed for Navy Seals and really support my ankles. They are now made New Balance, though I'm not seeing the Abyss on Amazon any more.

My favorite light diving shoes are my high top Chuck Taylor converse shoes. Otherwise I wear evo 3 rock boots.
