Hollywood, I think you made a great choice.

Even if you owned your own tanks (and a 7mil) so you could go diving at a 'moment's notice" you'd still need an air fill. (Unless you get the fill station in the garage:D)

Plus, if you start diving with some local buddies they might have an extra tank or two. :wink:
 
well, Im lucky my dive shop is less than 3 miles from me and open every day except sunday (will fill while you wait generally) so when i get 2-3 tanks I will be set for a while. I knew that I really wanted the dry suit, but, realizing that my dives this summer are going to be farther between (new baby coming) so the dry suit is the good choice, and rent a tank when needed, or borrow some. I can rent tanks easy enough, but a drysuit that fits might be a totally different story....

Good decision a Dry suit in Michigan is a must and you can rent a tank in GR for only $5 more than a fill. Also if you ever want to test that suit out at the bottom of Lake Sixteen send me a PM I will even bring an extra tank.
