I might be able to.... Mondays and Fridays are clear after 1pm for the most part. I will admit, I have never dove in New England before. It will be interesting. about what time of year does the water get too cold?

Well what is too cold will greatly depend on where you generally dive. Usually in NE people will dive wet into October pending on the year even later some years. The combination of air and water temp is a big part.

yeah, i love going swimming in early fall when the water is still a little warm and the air is a little chilly, so i know what you mean. i definitely want to go diving soon. want to go sometime in October? and do you go with a certain shop?

Not in New England, I dive on the gulf coast, i really need to expand my horizons.

I stopped by Kalipso earlier and of course they are a family only business. but the lady was really nice and told me that someone from Bryant had come by and told her that he was getting a group of kids together to get certified. so hopefully there will be some sort of club here soon.

I'm going to go advanced hopefully before winter, so i will need to log some dives soon, hopefully we can work something out then.

Well if you normally dive on the gulf coast you are looking at a totally different style/kind of diving. Here we wear thick wetsuits and vis can be low. You are going to want to log some dives before you go advanced around here. Thats good that someone is getting some divers together over at Bryant.

The Scuba Center in Attleboro is currently moving - they're packing up to be out at the end of the month and don't have a new location as of yet (but they still ARE planning to re-open). Unfortunately, as we're heading into the slower dive season, I'd seriously doubt that any local dive shop will be hiring now. :(
