Hey all,

I'm new here. I've searched most of the threads I could find on this and spent hours on Google. Does anyone have any updated or recent info about the edge-hog service technician class? I bought a new 1st and 2nd stage and would like to be able to fix on my own with proper manuals and information for parts. Any info is helpfull.
Thanks.

I see you are in Georgia. I believe Divers Supply sometimes has those classes in one of their Georgia locations (Marietta or Macon).

Rod yeah ive seen a couple post from a few years ago where they offered them but nothing in the website that says they currently do. Ill have to call and ask.

If you decide to have a go without doing the official course there are some good material available online.

  • Vance Harlows book is a good start. I don't think its availble in hard copy any more but digital copies are available.
  • Youtube videos by vintage double hose has good general principles that should be followed
  • The HOG D3 is almost identicle to the Deep6 signiture series. I service all my Hogs following the Deep6 service manuals.

Dive Right In Scuba teaches the HOG class from time to time.
