Brandon and Scot of the Scuba Guys! Gilboa is an ideal location for the class.

Hi,

Does anybody know where I can take a DIR Fundies class in the Mid-west this year? I have checked the GUE and Deep Blue (http://www.dpblue.com/) calendars but nothing. Any leads would be appreciated.

Cheers,
ICF

Well, if you don't mind hanging out with a 2005 World Series Champions White Sox fan and a friend, we were looking at doing Fundies this year too :D
Let me know if you are interested and maybe we can set something up either at Haigh or Gilboa. I am at Haigh pretty much every weekend.

Who is going to be the instructor at Haigh?

I'll be heading to Gilboa to take the fundies class with Brando and Scot in June.

DJ we'll keep that in mind. If you don't mind maybe we'll tag along, and we can form a little chicago group :)

Won't be up to me, you'd have to ask Brando and Scot if they will allow someone to tag along with their classes. I've been trying to get a group of DIR divers formed in the Chicago area.

In the past, they have permitted people to sit in and listen (audit) portions of the class. You won't get water or one on one time, but it is a learning experience. Several of those people have gone on to take the class at the next available offering.
