Looking for Fundies course in the Midwest this year...

Hi,

Does anybody know where I can take a DIR Fundies class in the Mid-west this year? I have checked the GUE and Deep Blue (http://www.dpblue.com/) calendars but nothing. Any leads would be appreciated.

DIR-F used to be held at Haigh Springs or Gilboa.

Your best bet is to get a couple of your dive buddies together, contact a GUE instructor and schedule a class where and when best fits your life.

Well, if you don't mind hanging out with a 2005 World Series Champions White Sox fan and a friend, we were looking at doing Fundies this year too
Let me know if you are interested and maybe we can set something up either at Haigh or Gilboa. I am at Haigh pretty much every weekend.

Won't be up to me, you'd have to ask Brando and Scot if they will allow someone to tag along with their classes. I've been trying to get a group of DIR divers formed in the Chicago area.

In the past, they have permitted people to sit in and listen (audit) portions of the class. You won't get water or one on one time, but it is a learning experience. Several of those people have gone on to take the class at the next available offering.
