Your photos are really pixelated and hard to see. Or is it me?

Remember I'm learning. I saved them as jpegs and used low quality thinking it would reduce file size. Evidently I reduced quality a little too low.

See if this is better.

I just looked at it and it is better but not quite as clear as I want. What do you think?

I realize this isn't a great picture but this guy surprised me and I barely had time to get off this shot. He was really close.

Practice makes perfect... You should try to get closer to your subject...

This is slightly adjusted for color and contrast...

Yeah, get closer... you really want to be able to see that particular critter's dentition... move in there eyeball to eyeball, tooth to tooth!
One night I was trying to fill the whole frame with a 'cuda's head; they were stacked in a bridge span off Panama City like cordwood - big boys, 4-5 footers. I approached the school from below, just easing the camera slowly into position, concentrating on the shot's content and composition, getting that eyeball at thirds and the teeth at thirds too. It was beautiful!
After the flash fired it dawned on me where I was, where the fish was, and that I was workin' at being a Darwin candidate that night.
Nice shot though - I'll have to dig it up and scan it over.
E.
