It is a testament to the power of the water over the rocks at Long Point, even on a gentle day. Frank and I usually enter and exit at the point so we can spend more time on the pinnacles and less time swimming. We have exited in much tougher conditions; so when you get rolled around in the washing machine on such an easy day, it's a reminder of how lucky you were all those other times when the conditions weren't so forgiving.
