I have hardcopies for all of my dives. I just finished loading all of my dives into an online log at DiveRecord.com. I will downloading Suunto Dive Manager tonight. I dive with a Vyper, but I just can't see spending the $100 for a damn cable to download the dive info from my computer into my PC!

Contact Jamiei on this board by PM or at his website: Athens Home Solutions. Jamie makes a great interface that has gold spring contacts for half that amount. Or he makes a kit you can build for even less. Many people on this board use his interface. All of them will tell you that he makes a great product.

I was just thinking about the fact that you never know when you might lose your logbook or something while on a trip and not have a record of your dives to show a DM. There is a terrific free solution from Suunto. Their website has a section called My Suunto where you can upload your dive logs and the profile graphs to show others or just for security reasons. It just dawned on me that this is a great way to have a secure backup of your dives available anywhere you can find internet access.

Probably even better than that software that no longer seems to be supported, Internet Dive Log, or whatever it's called.

I will definitely check out the cheaper interface, and once I'm using that and Dive Manager, it will certainly make more sense to upload them to Suunto's site than to manually enter all of my dives in to DiveRecord.com.
