Lobzilla sighting

gmbaker and I hit OGB yesterday for a 78 minute evening dive, and had the pleasure of wrestling with a big'un. With one hand on either side of it's tail, there was still a 3 inch gap between my thumbs!

indeed it was by far the largest LOBO I have seen so far. one of those wish I did not have the camera in the car.

Yeah, right ... and I'm sure you both saw a mermaid sitting on the back of Nessie riding around Gloucester trying to catch up to the Flying Dutchman w/ Bigfoot at the helm, too. Pictures!!!

I had the pleasure of meeting a bigun off Thatchers last fall...Scared the piss out of me while I was coming around a huge rock...right out in the open. Alas...my buddy was burried under a rock somewhere searching for bugs and no where to be found (thanks Lance).

Its sort of like a "hole in one" with no witness.

At least you had a witness.

Now I carry my Nikonis in my BC on lobstah dives. Even without flash it will prove a point after a little work in photoshop.

With a little bit more work in photoshop you can have that mermaid riding the lobsta.

I always carry my camera on solo dives, just in case Nessie swims by.
