It does depend, but nearly every reservation I've had is a weekend, and with 3 people. I've been told they started cracking down when it was three people driving three cars, as parking is limited. But we usually and meet up somewhere earlier and carpool into the park, and have never had a problem.

I have been told by the rangers that the fifteen team limit is determined by the available
parking (I once counted 30 public spots, though they've moved things around a little
since).

The rules used to say a team was two or three divers. For club dives, the
club would register 15 teams of three, and dive 21 teams of two and one team of
three. And carpool like crazy. Then one day there was an incident, (nobody hurt, but
a diver screaming for help, buddy nowhere to be found, and a 911 call). The two
"buddies" were registered in different teams. "or three" was deleted from the rules the
next week. I'm sorry to say it was on a dive I organized (I was UW in Bluefish Cove
and surfaced just in time to hear the CG cancel the pon-pon call.)

You going to be out there this weekend Chuck?

My team's got a reservation for Sat 5/24. We cross our fingers every time we try to get 3 people in. I imagine it'll be harder during the popular summer months.

Well folks, the forecast is looking somewhat less than ideal (that's me being optimistic), but I'm not discouraged yet. I'll decide when I get there...
