hello everyone,
We will be returning to Curacao for a much needed 10 day vacation. I was told that spearfishing is legal as long as your target is a Lion Fish. I have a nice 24" Biller 2 band reef gun. I didn't realize a mechanical gun could be used and only a special harpoon. Please enter comments as we are packing and leaving for the airport Tuesday Sept 6th.
Thanks to all in advance.

Boob,

Don't bring your speargun to Curacao. They only allow government (LVV) issued spearguns down here, and there is a permitting process.

However, as far as I am concerned feel free to go buy a long BBQ fork and kill all of those little suckers you want! (Of course you never heard that from me).

I would not bring the gun,,, lookup lionfish tamer it is made on the east coast of fl and very effective against the lionfish..
