here are pics of my drysuit gloves i made tonight. all it took was a 4in diameter pvc pipe cut into two 1 inch sections, and a pair of oil resistant, thick, rubber gloves. i bought the gloves and the pvc at my local hardware store. i cut the pieces of pvc pipe (2, one inch long pieces), and stretched the gloves over them. i then stretched my wrist seals over the pvc pipe (already covered by the gloves). this worked better then doing the gloves over the suit, because the wrist seals put more pressure onto the gloves, holding it more securely.

anyone tried this before. im hoping it will work. ill find out this weekend.

Will those be warm enough by themselves or will you need under gloves?

Boy those are hideous, but if they get the job done then I guess that is all that matters...

yes they get the job done, yes i use fleece gloves underneath, and no they are not permanately attatched. they are just on there really really snug.

It won't pressure test them but the first thing I'd do if I were in YOUR suit
is don the suit and climb into the shower while you let the tub fill. Then swish your hands around in the water. Most dry-glove seals do not rely on a simple
stretch over to remain dry.

Amen !!! A bit of strategically placed duct tape and he should be good to go ... for a while.

The drygloves on my Bare are just concrete finishing gloves stretched over Viking rubber outer rings. Have worked for many dives to below 200fsw.

This setup is too funky and convoluted, but gloves don't need much to seal.
