Question: if I'm a full cave diver and I gack myself driving my car to a dive site, would there be a payout?
This advice is worth what you paid for it, but I don't think you're engaging in scuba diving while you're driving.

So now that I had to purchase a new term life policy because my old one expired, I can confirm that with Pacific Life, as long as my scuba diving is limited to 100’ and no tech (I’m assuming decompression), ice, cave, or wreck, it would be considered recreational and not affect my underwriting category.
