Great Steve I will see you then,:) anyone else care to join in on the fun???

What a wonderful morning for a dive, Steve it was a pleasure diving with you today.
I was out this morning at Marvel’s side yard, we where on the second reef at the surface, there where 3 other groups of divers heading back in from the 3rd reef line and a boat come hauling butt between us and the other divers full throttle. We all yelled at him to watch out he was so close he heard us above the roar of his own engines and he jumped as he saw the divers so close to the edge of his boat. He could have killed someone; I guess he thought our dive flags marked a route for him.
I really thought the 3rd reef was to far out but it had several divers on it this moring. I found 3 Flamingo Tongue this morning; does anyone know why they loose their spots? One of them only had spots on the underside?

Hey... we were just on Datura yesterday and Saturday morning. It was beautiful... Saturday I spotted nudibranchs.

Kim, as far as the flamingo tongues losing their spots... [FONT=Arial, Helvetica]

"[FONT=Arial, Helvetica]This snail's shell is white all over. The orange and black dots you see are actually on a layer of living tissue connected to the snail's foot that the snail pushes out to cover its shell. This tissue works like a fish's gills, exchanging oxygen and carbon dioxide with the water so the snail can breathe."

Hey all conditions are still great. went out today (Mon) from LBTS (Datura) ...around 2. Very good visability.. wow ! Havent seen it that nice in awhile. Although, I think Marvel said in earlier post kinda quite out there. Same for me, saw a few things, but still great dive. When the vis is that good and your up on the surface looking down with the sun rays coming down .... awesome. Probably a very good night for night dive.
