This is a good place to find a buddy for your first or 100th shore dive. You can post here or just show up. Our shore dives are a great treasure that we would like to share, so if you have a favorite shore dive post it in the Insider Information thread for all to read.
Most of our shore dives are in 20 feet or less and require a walk in full gear and then a good swim BEFORE you reach your dive site. Our reefs are a “No Touch Zone” but feel free to look all you would like.
When we post a dive in this thread ALL DIVERS WELCOME just show up and dive.
When you shore dive be sure to bring:
Tank of air
Dive Flag
Glow stick (night dive)
2 underwater lights (night dive)
Quarters for the meters
Feel free to add anything I may have missed to the list.

You're killin me... still out of town. How 'bout a night dive during the week?

& it was! Flat & calm. 40 ft of visibility. Water temp is 80. Didn't see anything spectacular but it surely was a nice dive after 6 months :11: out of the water...

Going to have to replace this stupid trilam suit I have. The claim is that it is equivalent to a 3mm but I got COLD early into the dive & shivered until I could not take it any more- that was with a hood on too! Dive time was 50 minutes today.

Yeaaaa Marvel got wet....
I awoke this morning sneezing my head off, something is in the air today.

Tonight
Southwest winds 10 to 15 knots. Near shore...seas 2 feet or less. Well offshore...seas 2 feet or less building to 2 to 4 feet after midnight. Intracoastal waters a light chop.

Night dive anyone?

I just got back from a dive this morning and the conditions were great - flat seas, great vis and the water is warming up too! I can't go tonight - but I could maybe go during the week if you do end up planning a night dive during the week.
