As I sit inside watching the first rain of the season I begin to wonder what it will bring for Lake Travis.

How far down is Travis as of today? I am hoping to make a trip out the sometime in May. Hopefully the rain will continue more during the coming Spring and filler up.

i saw on news 8 that this rain should add about 1' to the lake. They predict that by July 4th it will still be around 20' low. Not good news for summer diving.

The recent rains are adding to the lake level. However, LCRA is obligated to release water downstream for the dang rice farmers. Barring a major spring storm, I think we'll stay fairly constant.
