I was over at Desert Tortoise Rd. The water has risen enough in some places that it covers the road and you can simply walk right in on the asphalt. Casino point isn't that easy of an entry.

I'm open for a dive or two any day this week if anyone is going. Just let me know.

How about Saturday and/or Sunday? Let me know by Thursday evening so I can pick up some tanks on Friday.

Steve, we may be headed back Sunday- Dan has to finish his OW dives and may try to do them then- I'll post on here when I hear back from him

Two dives on Saturday would be great. Does 9:00 AM work? As for a place, I'm open.

9:00am Saturday sounds fine. Vista Point area or Desert Tortoise are the only places I've ever dived from. Vista Point had pretty good vis a couple of weeks ago but I don't really have a preference.

Steve.

Good deal, Kris. Keep me posted. It looks like I'll be meeting "superchoriflai" on Saturday too.

Steve.

I've never been to Vista Point, let's start there. If anyone else is interested in coming please come along, the more the merrier. Why don't we meet at the gate at 8:45.

Greg

A group of us dove at Lake Pleasant last weekend. We dove at Beisemeyer Point, a little south of Desert Tortoise. Water temp was 53º and 48º at about 40'. Vis was limited from between 5' to the other side of your mask. Great for UW nav work! I'm hoping to make it back to Vista Point this weekend.

Hey Steve, it was great meeting you and Rob last Saturday at the lake. The water was colder than expected but the vis wasn't as bad. I'm sure glad I had a dry suit to wear tho'.....you guys are TOUGH getting in there with wetsuits! Hope we meet up again sometime.

Hi Will,
Likewise on the meet at the lake. I register a 49*F temperature on my computer and that's the coldest I've ever dived. At that temperature I think 30 minutes is about my comfort limit we still had half tanks on the last dive and that was 27 minutes. I think we are seeing the lower limits of the lakes temperature for this year. The temperture should start to rise in the next month or so. Last year it was 58*F at the end of March. I'll be looking for some more dives before my trip to Ft Lauderdale in April. See ya up there again soon.

Rob
