I am the for mentioned "buddy". Thx to all for your advise. I just ordered the soft ultima and plan to return the kubi. I did a lot of research but never came across the dgs for slaggo. I thought my only options were the 3 si tech options for slaggo and I did not like the Oberon at all. It leaked and just felt cheap (even tho it was close to $300). The ultima looks like a good option so again thank you all!
My last suit had Slaggos and I ran the Ultimas with it for years. It was a great combo.

I hope they work out. Please post back after a few dives with pros / cons. Thanks.
There awesome! 4 dives in no issues whatsoever!

Pros- 1-dry hands
2-easy don/dof
3- inexpensive
4- work great with slaggo

Con- only 1- not the easiest to install especially the o-rings

Thanks again for the suggestion I don't think I would have found them without it!

If you are refering to mounting gloves on the glove-ring, then this is known issue among Ultima DGS owners. While some have some sort of natural wizardry (@MaxBottomtime and @Deep South Divers) that permits them to easily use the stock o-rings to mount their gloves, the rest of us struggle tremendously with the stock glove retaining o-rings.

The solution is simple...toss the stock o-rings and pick up a pack of 341 x 70 durometer o-rings from Amazon or your favorite o-ring supplier.

The 341x 70 durometer o-rings make it super easy to mount gloves like the Showa 720/660/495/etc without any sacrifice in the o-rings' ability to retain the glove on your rings.

Here is a link to the o-rings I purchased.

I never found them incredibly difficult to mount, but it would be incredibly difficult to mount them by yourself. My wife holds the ring and I stretch the glove over it. Not hard to do, but I would struggle to do it alone.

I've been using the different o rings for about a year I think? They make life so much easier. Turns a pain in the butt job into a 1 person 3-4 min job.
