Knife mounted on gauge console, any reason not to?

View attachment 83050 I would like to use the ocean master with the two safety locks near my console, but the handle has a metal nut on the end of the handle and did have trouble with the compass. so I tried the smaller ocean master titanium and no trouble with it so far (out of water),I like the idea of two mounted on the inner leg but not sure how that will work???
not a tech diver but to use one for stabbing sharks and one for opening treasure chest sounds ok.

Its not the knife Im worried about its the 1981 space arm I picked up on ebay I think it was made in???????????????
