I can still Alpine ski with my knee brace. I start the season by bicycle riding to strengthen the muscles around the joint. I crosscountry ski a few times before downhill to get the body and legs ready.

Before I had the knee brace, I was injuring my knee every couple of years with related arthroscopy to clean up torn meniscus. I told the insurance carrier at the hospital business office that I needed the brace for my work. They paid for the braces.

Hello All,
I recently had ACL surgery for my knee (I shredded my ACL skiing). My Physical Therapist recommends that I use a straight leg kick from now on into eternity to limit the strain on the ACL. I looked it up on DAN and Scubalab reviews and can't find this info. So what pair of fins would be best for a straight leg kick?

Blown out both ACL MCL in both knees, been surgically rebuilt. So love my aeris volecity xp split fins. My knees never feel the strain as with paddle fins.

Some say force fins are good for bad knees, but I have not felt the need to try as I found something that works for me. Good luck on the fin search.
