I have done a fair amount of diving from Key Largo on down to Key West and I would suggest diving in Key Largo with Quiescence Diving Services, World Class Diving in Key Largo, FL in Looe Key with Looe Key Diver Center and in Key West with http://captainscorner.com/. I have been to all the shops within the past several times and always had a great experience. Some of the easiest diving can be found in Looe Key. I am not sure about rental equipment because my wife and I bring our own. When your down in Key West I would definately recommend the resturant Better than Sex for dessert.

Guys - Thanks for all your ehlp

I do have one more question

Are all dives of Key West unguided (except the vandy)?

For the most part, yes. You can always request a guide (for a price of course).
