I just dove with Ocean Divers the other day. It had been a very long time since I was down in the keys.
If there is less than a full boat this boat is very roomy and due to it being a larger boat they will go out
when the smaller boats don't. We did two dives on Molasses reef and I enjoyed it quite a bit. The reef structure
is seperated in many places with areas of open sand giving it a much different feel than the straighter ledges
we drift dive up north. If you know you have ventured a ways from the boat it was recommended at maybe
a half a tank to do a boat check and take a heading back to the boat. It was against my instinct to surface without
a marker for a mid dive boat check but the area is boats either anchored or moving pretty slowly. Definitely
listen and look for overhead boats while slowly surfacing for boat check.
