Keeping warm in a drysuit

If you can't puff up the suit, you can always put a boat cloak over it. It works wonders for wetsuit diving, and I suspect that it would work well in your case too. If you have a shell suit, simply dry it off with a towel as best you can and don the cloak. Don't forget some sort of head covering as well.
 
I use Carhart Artic Wear between dives. I leave my drysuit on and zipped, dry everything else off, and put on mittons and a nice warm hat. Dumb, obvious thing is to make sure mittons are water proof, cuz you'll probably be stuck being a line tender at one point or another. :)
