WOW!!!! I have so much learning to do still. lol....Imagine that.:11: It actually is beginning to sound more like it might just benefit me to go ahead and buy my stuff new seeing as to how the bc that I've been looking at are on the other side of the country.

Thanks alot for your insight. It does help because it's all a learning thing and I don't want to take any chances specially when I'm below. No thank you....:no.

Well it might be perfectly ok on the other side of the country. You just never know.

Chances are that it is. If you really want it, arrange with the seller to return in 15 or 30 days if you don't like it. Then all you're out is shipping. (unless you have trouble getting him to return payment).

I've bought plenty of used stuff when I've found a good deal. 90% of the time there is nothing wrong with it. I bought a set of gauges once though on Ebay that the seller never told me the fittings were corroded under the rubber boot. They weren't bad or anything, but he didn't dislose it when I asked if anything was wrong with them. It's kinda buyer beware.

Another example. Used wetsuit. do you really want to buy a wetsuit that other people have been pee'ing in? hmmmmm......

Just slap her with a fish or feed her some cheese whiz and she'll leave you alone for a little while :D

Mojo, do you really want advice from a man who is going to treat his wife like this on Valentine's Day?

She's a pirate lady and you never know. She may end up liking that. Then I might be in a world of trouble. I can't go getting into trouble if I expect not to have to walk any gang planks around here. Least wise not yet......:D

Uh ohhh, another question coming on....did you guys really feed any of the fish Saturday with Cheese whiz? Gotta know.....:profile:

I didn't Saturday but I have fed the eels at Vortex Springs on a night dive with cheese whiz. It comes out of the can in a line and the eel will slurp it right up.

The most useful piece of advice I got when I was looking "It is life support equipment".
That summed it up for me. I just rented and borrowed from friends/buddies until I bought. The dive shop I trained in let me try many different types of everything. Regs,bc's.fins,boots. As a matter of fact, I just traded even, a BC with 30 dives on it for a size smaller. Just my 2 cents. LIFE SUPPORT.

Where is Vortex Springs and what kind of diving is it? Uggghhhh, I can't wait to go.:hyper:

I am so ready. Haven't been in the water since Thanksgiving.
