Just booked 1st trip to Coz --- need advice on the "bag drag" from/to Cancun

I went through Cancun customs on Oct 18th was through in less then 10 minutes. Usually takes longer but I think my average has been less then 30 minutes.

We were there in September, having no other reasonable choice since we drove to Chichen Itza, spent the night, toured the ruins in the morning, then drove to Playa del Carmen to catch the ferry.

To our shock we were standing outside 20 minutes after the plane landed. That accounted for everything: disembarking, walking from the gate, immigration, getting our bags, customs, running the timeshare and tour gauntlet. I've never gotten through any airport so quickly after arrival.
