I think As I said somewhere in here, there were a S%^ton of these and then few here and there with the same shape, but hanging [-]testicles[/-].stupid autocorrect. Tentacles.
I've always enjoyed seeing them. I don't think they stung me.
 
A+ for the reg. purge method.
On a dive there 2 weeks ago the DM swung his
alternate reg. around while inducing a freeflow.
It cleared them away pretty well.
Certainly easy to do, just be aware of your gas consumption!
 
I did a dive in Mexico where there were so many moon jellies it was impossible to avoid them. Glad they don't sting but you would have run out of air shooing them out of your way. We just pushed and swam our way through them.
 
Guess I should have said the 30 second freeflow cleared the majority
of them out of the area for 8 other divers. If they aren't that thick
take the opportunity to watch/film/photograph them. I did.
