What did you think people were?

people be good to your dolphins
dolphins will love as you do
if you don't want pissed off dolphins at sea
people be good to your dolphins too

H2Andy:
lol

believe me, if they had had anything to do with the fire, the news would be all over
"Terrorist Activists Burn Ship Down"

fact is, they were nowhere near the scene of the fire
I don't like Sea Shepherd at all. They had nothing to do with this though. The boat they rammed was one of the other ones, and they were heading back to Australia low on fuel when this happened AFAIK.

Its ok, its a 'scientific' accident.
Too bad about the crew member. At least he gave his last full measure for 'science'.

Biologically yes... spiritually no

The ship can be repaired or rebuild. The sailor's life is lost forever.

Who knows. Maybe he was doing this for a living to feed his wife and children... that are now widow and orphans. If you have children, try to think about it.

Or maybe he was doing it to pay for studies that would get him to university where he would have become a famous biologist who in 20 years from now helped save the last Whales.

To see people happy with his death without knowing anything about him is one of the reasons why I cant stand tree hugging extremists

Wardric the last sentence in your post summs it up for me as well.

Bravo. :shakehead

While you're on the subject, are there any other dead or missing people you would care to use to grandstand for a cause?

If that's the only difference, then don't worry. It's only a biological death. The spirit allegedly lives on.

not sure why Dylan Thomas came to mind:

Deep with the first dead lies London's daughter,
Robed in the long friends,
The grains beyond age, the dark veins of her mother,
Secret by the unmourning water
Of the riding Thames.
After the first death, there is no other.

It's a shame someone is missing, but I for one won't lose any sleep over it.

perhaps his parents, siblings, wife and children (if any), and friends will
