Did a pool dive over the weekend and had a chance to get out the UNO H2O cards again - had three players and I was the "dealer" 'cause it's easier than everyone messing with the discard and the draw pile.

We even had an "audience" of the other divers :D with a few expressing interest to try it come the pool dive in February.

I need to get some better binder clips though - my largest one did not want to stay closed and I had to play pick-up at one point.

try adding a strip of magnetic tape to the cards. that way you could have them stick to the playing surface, discard and draw piles.

Are they regular uno cards?

Lol...I believe that was already tried at one point in time by another board member and it didn't work out too well... The extra thickness would also make shuffling harder.

There are plastic UNO cards, called UNO H2O, that are totally waterproof.

There are a couple other threads out there that prove just *how* O/C the ISOSAD (International Semi-Organized ScubUNO Association of Divers) are.

Here are a few of them,

I'm soooo excited to see you've played again! LOL

I'm gonna be doing a pool dive to try out new gear in a couple weeks. I'll have to take the cards.

'Twas a lot of fun...but I lost again, dammit!

RJ: You're going to get an official ISOSAD title out of that if you keep it up.

I *so* want to get some ScubUNO in, but this seems like a dry state this time of year. My usual buddy just bought a Subaru Forester, so they can't afford a drysuit this year... but it'll be a lot easier to load all the gear in that than in my little car.

Once you guys migrate back out of the pool, I'll have to try to get up there to dive (and get a little ScubUNO in, eh?).

Sounds good! Would love to get a dive or few in with you!

As for RJoe losing again... I say we call him "ScubUNO Lord of Losing" LOL  :D

(RJ- You know we all love ya!:10: ) LOL

Lol . . .this is great. He can't post from work to defend himself any more :D

Clay, definitely need to get in some ScubUNO at some point with ya.

Don't mind all the fuss, RJoe... we're just used to paying attention to rock-bottom. :D
