Is there someting to keep tanks from rolling around the trunk?

For single tanks I gotta second the pool noodles and knotted ropes. Easy to make and cost almost nothing.

For doubles...well they really don't move much.

I have a set of small plastic wheel chocks I keep in the trunk in case I have to change a tire on an incline. Lots of hills in central Texas. I put some strips of velcro ( the hook portion) on the bottom of the chocks. The velcro holds the chocks securely to the carpet on each side of the tanks. Works great and I get double usage out of them.
 
If they're rolling around, it sounds like you don't have enough dive gear yet. :D Pool noodles and rope.
