So I cheat and have B timers that actually work and I am happy with, also Securus systems, which I bypass
but lets say with the P21 sized filters genuine or stainless which I repack with molecular sieve and charcoal

after a few tanks and I think they're ready for change I'll weigh them
where Bauer says 14 grams over new weight is saturated I'll go to 20
or something

Are you using 1/4” PCP fittings? Seems everything is 1/8” that I’m coming across.
Yep 1/8 npt, Adapt as necessary. I go directly to #4jic or try to stay 1/8.
If you need, 1/4npt, bushings to adapt. The one picture the online valve is 1/4npt, used bushings there

I can quick couple a few lines together if I temporarily need a longer fill tranfer whip. I generally use female quick couplers on all my hoses, you can get male male adapters really cheap.

I probably wouldn't use the low bore hoses for 14cfm coming from the compressor. I would use 1/4 hydraulic line

TimmyJane,

Did you ever get your compressor up and running and if so, how's it treating you?
I did not.
I got involved getting the boat finished up and then a hurricane hit. My job is in disaster assistance and things got super busy. Then we bought a storm damaged house that required 6 months of rehab. So I am just now getting back to the compressor.
Having to go back over everything because it has all left my brain.
The compressor has been moved to my shop and I plan to get the electrical done this weekend if the weather cooperates.
New filters are here so once the power is done I have to figure out the plumbing.
Time to start reading again. Sure wish I could find a diagram. I think that would help me a lot. Learning my compressor components would be extremely beneficial as well. I’ll get there.

Thank you @happy-diver.
I was looking at the compressor this morning trying to see what all components it had. This is helpful. I think I may also have a check valve near the PMV. Also some type of solenoid is there too. Not sure what it is for yet.
After a lot of reading and some helpful ChatGPT discussion, I understand post compressor connections. Looks like there are a lot of different ways to connect all the parts but only having 2 4500psi tanks kinda limits my design.
Seems that stainless tubing is probably my best bet for the connections so I am trying to source that and all the fittings.
If anyone is near Greenville, SC and wants to come give me a tutorial, I’d be happy to have you. 😀

If you only have a couple of bank bottles, there's nothing wrong with plumbing with flexible lines. Especially if you're not sure you're in the final configuration. My entire 15-bottle bank is plumbed with flex (because it came that way, not because I chose to do it! ) and it's fine. Heck, there's nothing that says you couldn't set the whole thing up with a single whip and some quick-disconnect fittings so you can manually connect things various ways as needed.

What flex lines would you recommend or where would you recommend sourcing them? I saw some said hydraulic lines but apparently there is some extra considerations that must be given.

I've never had to buy them myself but August usually gets mentioned for breathing air lines. The problem with hydraulic lines is that they tend to use oil to assemble the ends and you may or many not be able to clean all of it out.

Think out your design - I have a lot of bottles where the valves have 1/4NPT ports, so at least one end each line between bottles needs to be a swivel fitting. If you're using Tee fittings you might be able to get away with assembling things sans swivel, but it makes it easier when you're stringing together several bottles.

@TravisD thanks. My bottles have CGA347 valves so I have to use a nipple and nut but it will have a 1/4 thread. I’ll do some digging beyond Amazon and EBay.
