On the GUE site it looks like it's mostly Florida.

Thanks in advance - Ray

There may not be one in NJ, but you might be able to find one close by. If you can get a group of people who are interested, some of the instructors will come to you.

Just took fundies here in Portland CT with Ed Hayes, also like the previous post says Bob Sherwood also conducts courses at Dutch every soo often.

Drop either of them an e-mail and they will glady point you in the right direction. They are both two of the best instructors you will ever find.

All of their info can be found at http://www.gue.com/Training/Instructors/index.html

I was in that fundies class with cbsaw this past weekend and I learned so much it was amazing. Seriously Ed Hayes is an awesome scuba instructor. I know he is also planning on having another fundies class in late august which should be up on the GUE website soon based on what his last email newletter said. Good luck.

Thanks - emailed Bob Sherwood, just waiting to hear back from him.

Bob is a wonderful instructor, as is Ed Hayes. I was lucky enough to have them as my instructors for my fundies class. But, just to let you know, Bob is notorious for delayed responses to emails. Don't take it persnally or let it impact your decisions on using him as an instructor.

Henryville:
When was the last time Bob taught a Fundamentals class in the Northeast?

If you're interested in doing it this season, I'd give Ed a call. He is one of the best and most dedicated instructors I've ever met.

Last October, I believe. It was the class that cmalinowski and I took.

Probably right, but word had it that a Sept class was in the makings :) And, Ed is great so if he is teaching one, take it.
