Is there still a magazine called "Sport Diver"? If so, don't believe anything you read in it. They have already lied to you on the cover.
That's the PADI one that PADI pros used to get free, no? Since we can only get it online now then no, there is no more "Sport Diver" (for me anyway--I don't have a computer or iPod, etc. in the John).

When I think of the word sport I think of compitition and overcoming the opposition. There is fishing and then there is sport fishing. Bringing a 10# fish into a boat with 40# test is not a sport. Getting the fish to the boat on 3# test is a challenge and to me a sport. Shopping is not a sport unless you are blond and then the sport is finding the car again in time to et it detailed. I dont think anything recreational is sport since recreational activities are for relaxing. Wrestlers are not relaxing either but WWF is not a sport organization. That fits in the same catagory wirth the brass pole ballet. Next when I think of sport I think of activities for profiet or gain. So perhaps a sport is compitition with a reward system.

Yawn.
