Also remember that while sometimes its your friend who is on vacation, all that has transpired may not be being shared. Have you seen "To Catch a Predator"? You know where the person is 'Oh, I just came by to say hi' - then the rest of the stuff starts showing up.

Ironically, that happens in IT as well.. clients tell me "Oh, well I was just reading email" and it turns out that they also were doing some other stuff and just installed program XYZ.

Hmmm... I haven't been warned or "censored" by any mod in quite some time.. I must be softening up!
Me neither? Does that mean I'm behaving ok, or that they just don't think warning me is worth the time? :D

I really wonder what my score is sometimes...?
Are you saying that the person who recieved the ban should not discuss his/her vacation with their friends? Off the board?
I think this means that they will not provide a list of possibly multiple reasons for the vacation.

I must be softening up!
I hear some blue pills can help that condition.:D

Marvel, i believe the problem is that some Mod actions are perceived as unilateral and not thought-out....<snip>

to their credit, 95% of all Mods do an outstanding job of this. there are just a few that probably could benefit from sensititivy training
Andy, I can't beleive you would post such erroneous information. Like where do you get this stuff? Off a wall? Sheesh.

I mean, Like....it's closer to 98% :rofl3:

Geez, didn't mean to redirect Howard's thread. As for the little blue pills... no need for them yet. Sigh.

Or, perhaps the member could have read the Mod post that clearly stated that the thread was closed at the request of the OP? :D
I didn't get that far, I'm still reading the first MOF/NMOF thread. :D
