Wendy once bubbled...
I'm thinking about coming down for this trip as well.

I'll know more by the end of the day I hope.

Of course! I hope you can make it.

Dang. Looks like I'm missing the chance to check out a few different BP/W setups in a non-threatening environment.

Wendy, we'd love to have you join us!

Non-threatening? You've never seen pictures of me post dive!

Now all we need to do is pray for flat seas, clear skies & 200' vis!

I just booked my spot.

I'll probably leave Orlando on Friday and get my tanks filled on the way down and then crash at a friend's house down that way or something. I'm not much of a morning person, and didn't want to have to get up at 3am to drive down there.

So what are the post dive plans? I read something about dinner. I wouldn't mind heading over to the beach post dive and getting a little sun on my white butt before dinner time.

I've never dived Boynton before, so this should be fun, and besides I get to meet more scubaboarders

Add one more bp/wing to the group!

Another chick to add to the dive!

And, as Marc said, it will actually be nice to be able to see some BP/Wings in action. I promise everyone who sees me eyeballing your gear I'm just looking/learning, not planning on making a grab for it! :)

Wendy, I think the beach could be a good idea, too. I haven't seen any proper sun in too long!

Cool.. looks like this is becoming an "(un) official meeting of Florida Conch Divers" :-)

My BP/Wings should arrive today (at least that's what UPS says on their page) so u all will be able to see me all tangled up in a harness swimming upside down ... that or i will dare going in full gear to my local swimming pool scaring pool children to test my trim/bouyancy...

I think (what do ya thing Dr. Jay?) that we can't stay longer than a day... work and other obligations. Seem like I will drive into a beatifull sunrise with Dr. Jay sleeping in my car (lucky ****)

Btw. does somebody know why I can't set cruise control in my car at speeds higer than 85 MPH ... just wondering =-)

hope to see you all an have a blast diving :-)

Excellent! Glad you will join us! :bounce:

The beach in Boynton is suppose to be nice & you (praying for great weather) will have plenty of time to bask in the sun!

A thought for cocktails & dinner Saturday evening. Last weekend we (Walter, Krista, MB, Joanne & I) ate at Two Georges Waterfront Restaurant. It was right on the water, casual dining oudoors, near the bar (covered) & they had a menu for all tastebuds. I loved the food, service was great, the prices weren't bad & it was a fun atmosphere. How does that sound for everyone?

Dr. Jay & Matt, do y'all need me to look up some hotels for you in the area?

Sandy

I'm not sure dinner is going to work for me, but I'll have to let you know that day. I have lots of family in Boca and they all want some of my time.

Anyone up for breakfast that morning?

So what are we going to be diving? Wreck/reef or reef/reef? Any idea on depths? I'd like to plan my dives in advance.
