We are pleased to invite you to a FREE Intro to Tech Seminar here at Dive Right In Scuba, Nov. 29.

You would be hard pressed to find an active Technical diver in the Chicago land area that has not heard of Greg Such or received their training from him or someone he has trained. Since Joining TDI in 2000 Greg has issued almost 400 Diver and instructor level certifications combined. He holds TDI Highest IT level of Advance TriMix Instructor Trainer. Not only is he actively teaching these course, he dives to these levels on many of the Great Lakes most prestigious shipwrecks! We are please to announce that he will be coming down to Dive Right In Scuba to give a presentation on what it takes to get started in Technical diving, a summary of technical programs we will be having him teach in 2009 including: Intro to Tech, Advance Nitrox, Decompression Procedures, TriMix, Advance TriMix and Closed Circuit Rebreather. Additionally there will be a video presentation on the technical dives these guys are making on the Great Lakes from 150-380 feet deep!

This will be a very informative day! Please come by for more information and to have your questions answered by one of the best!

Please ask any and all questions in this thread so others may learn as well:cool2:

I would highly recommend this to anyone even remotely interested in technical diving, or even if your interest is only in Great Lakes wreck diving. Greg is an outstanding instructor and extremely knowledgeable about wreck diving throughout the Great Lakes. From first hand experience I can recommed him as an instructor for whatever level of training you might desire.

Does your shop use it's own in store staff for it's tech course instruction, or do you sub out to Greg those needs?

We are in the process if growing our tech instruction....We have an IT that needs to be renewed after being out a while and are fortunate enough to have Greg help us build this program and grow it with us. Then we will have 2 ITs, Greg with his shop, and Mike Ridgway with ours...both then can really start to team up and give the midwest the best instruction in the country or even travel to other locations to bring their expertise with them. This is honestly the start of some great instruction and excellent programs. Greg also brings excellent rebreather training with home and opens up more doors for our shop.

After spending a week in Vegas with him, hes also a really fun guy that blends well with our shop attitude which is really hard to find in some instructors.

All just the prep work for us to dominate the world ;) ..lol...no Im serious :D

Wish I could make it up there this weekend....

Phil
