In Need of 2nd Opinion on the Sea & Sea 3100

I'm still a novice diver. However, I think diving and photography are both just as interesting. For some time, I've been considering wheter or not to purchase an underwater camera at such an early stage of a hobby. Anyway, my aim was the Sea & Sea DX-3100 model. I hope to receive second opinions (pros and cons) from all, if not, some other models which are better in specs within a similar price range. Thank you all!!

I tried one out at the last DUI Dog Days demo. I wasn't too impressed. The strobe's fiber optic cable kept falling out and the pics were pretty grainy. I think it's just a 3mp camera.

I don't remember the asking price on the S&S, but you can get a factory refurb Oly C5050 pretty cheap now. Ebay The PT-015 housing is everywhere for about another $150. The strobe is what eats your lunch +/- $500.
