I am totally new at this and in the process of setting my granddaughter up with a GoPro rig. Their site does not show any colored filters. What filter(s) and how are they installed in the MAKO flat lens?

For Filters and focus fix use I find the best option at the moment is the SRP Blurfix it has the lowest vignette levels of all the fixes available only slight in 960P and photo modes with the HD1 and the HD2 has even less vignetteing again.

If your lucky and get a well centered housing with the HD2 (each housing is slightly different so the exact location of vignetting will vary) Some people are reporting zero vignette in all modes using a blurfix and HD2 gopro, but the housings Ive used have the very edges of corners in wide photo mode and 960p. It also has the option to replace the clear glass screw in filter provided with other filter like the UR pro range for better colours when shooting in good natural light conditions.

Here is my comparison test of the stock gopro against an oculus r5 (same design type as all other drop in lenses like goforfocus and mako vignetting in all modes except r5 1080p in the HD1) eye of mine and a blurfix by SRP (clear lens and UR pro Cyan filter)

I am currently in the process of doing some testing with the new gopro HD2 comparing it against the HD1 with and without filters.
