I had my surgery today. Absolute GAME CHANGER.
I don’t mind! So there’s a soft spot but the affected area is kinda deep below if you know what I mean? So like you don’t want a blow there but once you recover it’s okay. That news will be pretty tuff for Santa to beat, I'm betting he comes up short this year. Thank you!
Please ignore if you mind my asking but did the procedure leave you with an unprotected soft spot at the base of your skull? The illustrations I saw for the procedure just shows removing a chunk of bone but no mention of what happens next.
Congratulations Kaylee I'm glad all went well.had my surgery today. Absolute GAME CHANGER. I woke up with no head pressure, tingling, back/arm aches, my brain fog is gone and my memory is back, my depth perception is great again. Best decision I’ve ever made. As for diving, not sure when I’ll pick that up again. That depends on my healing. But for now I’m thanking God that it went this well.
Thank you all for all of your support. It means the world to me.

I would think it’s possible. So I may consider sidemount.Thank you. Is there any risk that dive gear could impact that vulnerable spot when your head is tilted back? Would side-mount be worth considering if you can dive again?
Have a great Christmas.
