A second opinion might be a good idea, but that would stall surgery while you find another brain surgeon.Update: I saw the neurosurgeon and he said all my symptoms match up with Chiari and that my imaging was also consistent with that. He recommended surgery, which will be December 20th. I’ll post an update afterwards.
he's a highly regarded Chiari specialist with pretty much nothing but glowing reviews. which is why i went to him first, so i wouldn't need to see like 3 different people (thankfully). a friend of mine with Chiari highly recommended him because her surgery was through him and went really well and in this facebook chiari group everyone pretty much said the same thingIt's nice to know and to be offered a possible solution. It sounds like you are into a great plan. Will that area be unprotected somehow? There may be an argument favoring a sidemount rig if your are able to dive again.
