We are starting out in diving. Have both wet and dry suit.

Consider doubles only a future possibility.

The wife is 5'4". I'am 5'8".

What tanks would you buy?

Your wife might be interested in the small HP65 or HP80 steel tanks. Either one will allow her to take weight off her weight belt and is shorter than alum 80's to fit her size. I'm 5'7" and these are my favorite tanks.

I would agree with Dee... IF you can get the 3500 psi fills...
I would go with PST HP80 for your wife and PST HP102 for you.

If you cannot get the HP fills then I would go with the PST LP80 for both of you... later if you wanted to double them up for a small twinset you could....

thanks for the feedback.
we just bought our gear and are now thinking tanks.
any other opinions are most welcome.

I think your wife would like the LP steel 85. I love mine and ended up with those for my doubles as well.
