Update: I completed the classroom and pool sessions with Peter and the Staff Instructors at Scuba New York in Yonkers, then finished the OW in West Palm Beach, FL.
Peter, and all of SNY were great and I would highly recommend any/all of them.
Got perfect 5's for the in-water portion and averaged in the 90s somewhere on the written portion of my I.E.
Coming from a very different set of protocols (PDIC) was a challenge that I was well prepared for thanks to Peter Hearn, Capt. John Sikoryak, Emilio (oly5050user), all of the staff of Scuba New York and the owner, Rob Weintraub.
Another instructor whom also went through this whole process at the same time (NASE) also did very well.
I've also returned for some specialty instructor ratings from Peter (through Pan Aqua this time) and continue to find him an excellent instructor and vested mentor.
*Note: I did also have a chance to interact with an EASE instructor and some excellent students of theirs while at the Florida IE. Phillipe Yersin left a great impression of their organization and in particular, then student-now an excellent instructor in the Keys, Linsie Ferguson surely showed well for EASE.
