As much as I like performance of Scubapro regs, they have really messed up their marketing and servicing for me to have much faith in them anymore.
I'm tired of hearing bout newer regs and finding out that my last year reg is going to cost a lot more to service due to parts availability.
Although Apeks may not have the performance of the SP regs, they breath great, have been proven to be totally reliable, and have been true to their roots. The DS4, FST and FRS have been around long enough and parts are never a problem with Apeks.
Get the Apeks and forget the rest.
