SparticleBrane:

Oh man, I love that Avatar :rofl3: .

If I throw in a cup of ice, will PADI give you your "ice diver" cert??

Cheers, :D

Mike

SparticleBrane:
Most likely, yes. :D
That along with the $400 for the card.

On a more serious note, good luck Lynne. I know you've put in the hours to prep for this class and I'm sure you'll do fine. Have fun and like the others, I eagerly await your report.

I'd like to second that.
Lynne--do you remember my old sig line?
"Slow and relaxed with good technique."

Tell it to yourself while you're going through the drills, and you'll find yourself slowing down. Learn to use the "TiVo in your mind" and envision the skill in your head before doing it, and you'll suddenly see it all come into focus. :)

edit: I'll put that old sig line up again, just for you.

I've mentally Tivoed valve drills until I've worn that part of the disc out. Somehow, that doesn't have any affect on my drysuit -- Go figure. Maybe the dry suit needs to do the visualizing. . . .

Maybe your dry suit doesn't appreciate the concept of team diving . . . :11:

I think my dry suit is on the OTHER team :D

Just be glad the bluegloves haven't thought of adding "drysuit failure" to the list of "issues" that can arise in a training dive...
