I have the buckle correctly threaded to the BP i think, i have the webbing so the end comes out at the bottom in the inside slot, and then running back through the first slot. What I really cant figure out for some reason is how to get the other end to securely buckle into the piece. If someone has a diagram or picture they can show me, I would really appreciate it. I feel really dumb for asking this because I know its simple, it just eludes me.

Nice site, thanks..........

ive used that site as a guide already, and i just think im doing something wrong, since the loose end just falls out after i close the buckle. Picture is coming.

from the bottom

in the first -- out the middle -- trim to the edge of the buckle -- that is ALL that is needed ---

I can't be sure, but it appears you are putting the "non-buckle" end of the webbing in through the wrong place on the buckle. ... it should go into the buckle directly under/against the cam.
That picture almost makes it appear as if the buckle is broken .... It seems like there's no way it could tighten down... but I might just be missing something.

the picture that I was using is http://www.gasdiving.co.uk/images/kit/Harness/top_complete.jpg
maybe they are using a different buckle, but in that picture the webbing runs into that curved piece on the bottom.
i have threaded it the above mentioned way, and it works, but i just didnt know if there was some fatal error that i would commit by doing it that way.

The picture is wrong! Stick it where the buckle will engage the webbing when it is closed. And don't believe everything you read.
