What did you get Fishpie? Old Milsurps can be quite distracting, used to be a fairly cheap way to get into collecting but prices are steadily rising. Bargains can still be found but they are few and getting far between.

.....nothing rare or fancy. Just a $89 Molot refurbished Mosin.
Got me hooked though, now I want an Indian Lee Enfield in 308.
......and a Swiss rifle.
......and a Finnish Mosin.
......and a Tokarev.
......and a SKS.

$89 is a great price on a Mosin. They are $129 and up around here now. I have a M44 that is a hoot to shoot. The fireballs in the evening are really cool. Never did get my C&R, always intended too but never got around to it. Probably a dangerous thing for me to do anyway.

Fishpie, were you over on National Gun Forum talking about your mosin and relaoding?

Dayum! Are you that guy that lived on the hill in the movie Tremors with the arsenal in the basement?

Just a hobby.

The Bren is a really nice touch. Is that in 303, Mauser or 7.62?

You just need an MG42 and you've got all the major parties to the European theatre represented!

I've had the chance to buy MG42, M1919, and a Vickers over the years . I've always passed. They are HUGE and take up a lot of storage space, expensive to feed, and the additional support pieces combined cost as much as the gun.
