      Hello

My wife just started diving and now she qualifies for getting an underwater camera as a gift. I know absolutely nothing about photography and need to ask you if you recommend the SeaLife DC 1400. Do you think it's a "beginner camera" that she would be replacing within 5 years? Are there cameras that have better features which she could use for years to come?

My sincere apologies. I never got a notification of this message and just now saw it. It's over a year later now, so you probably already went with something. But, if you haven't are are still considering it, yes, I would recommend a SeaLife camera for her. They also just came out with a DC2000, which is a little more advanced, but still retains its simplicity.
