The 6th amendment has been used to argue for jury nullification on the basis that a juror is free to return a not guilty verdict without explanation.

Help me out; I cannot see that in the Sixth.

Generally the Sixth has been held to provide, to the individual (generally a defendant) the right to a fair, public, and speedy trial, trial by an impartial jury (with the Supremes deciding what constitutes "impartial"), the right to confront and cross examine accusers and witnesses, the right to notification of charges, and the right to counsel and self representation.

If there is something in there about returning a not guilty verdict without explanation I would appreciate the cite.

I can't find the article now, but it was concerned with the nature of the impartial jury. I thought I got it from fija... I'll post if I find it again.
