I am getting a new wetsuit

After a lot of procrastination and some encouragement from a future dive buddy and good friend, I am getting a Henderson Hyperstretch wetsuit.
It's a 7/5 mm and it fit like a glove. The LDS is getting it custom fit for me (arms 2 in. too long, legs 4 in. too long) - I am a tad on the short side. It's nice to finally take the plunge...getting my first bit of my OWN dive gear. Hopefully this means I will be getting some dives in soon before the cold weather really strikes.
On another note, I have a primarily unused farmer Jane/jacket 6.5 mm combo that I am selling because I am not too fond of the way it fits me. It's also way too long. I got it as a Christmas gift a few years back and only wore the FJ once. Anyone have any advice on how to sell it? I am going to get some pictures of it asap.

Congrats on the new wetsuit...I have a Henderson Hyperstretch and it keeps me warm in Monterey water...

As for selling your "old" wetsuit...either sell it in the gear/equipment classified forum here on scubaboard, or put it on ebay...

Does it matter that the buyer will not be able to try it on before they buy it?

The fact that I actually helped anyone overcome procrastination is kind of a disturbing thought! Though in my defense I was procrastinating from working on my research when I dragged you to the dive shop.

As for selling the old one over ebay or something. Don't worry to much about the buyer trying it on.... take a look, there are people selling those kinds of things on there all the time. Just post what size it is.

Perhaps I could finally get those pics of the old suit up on ebay soon so that money can sorta half-fill the giant void from the new wetsuit. hahaha. arty2:

I got my wetsuit yesterday and took it snorkeling not two hours later...and I have to say...

I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Now to get some nitrogen in my blood while wearing it, and we can call it truly 'broken in'.

I was wondering if anyone knew what the main difference between the Herderson hyperstrech vs Gold Core was? Am looking at the 7mm for now since winter is arriving and the 3mm later for the summer. Thanks for you feedback.
