Southside of town off Oneal. Yep, winds are 145 mph and not looking good at all. TV said we will start to feel the effects by tomorrow afternoon. We used to live about 60 miles from where Katrina came in. Keep in touch. :) Tim

They announced mandatory evacuations for our area starting Sunday morning.

We have just been told the same starting 7 am. They are predicting this to be worse than Katrina. I hope not. Don't know if I can stay after and rebuild again. It has taken a great toll on me personally.

Well I just got called in for a small case. Clay, I think I know where you are, I pass that sub when I go to the General. Small world isn't it! :) I guess I'm going to find out about "contraflow" now!;) Tim

I understand how you all feel. I am staying home to ride this one out again as I did Katrina and Rita and a dozen others. I am on a waiting list for a generator at a store in Amite that says that they may be in on Monday. I will be willing to drive there if I can get one. I was invited to Atlanta, but if I have power, I can get through it. Hopefully it will keep moving west, and won't be as bad as Katrina. I have all of you in my prayers.

God bless.

I bought literally the last generator in Baton Rouge. Found a used one but the neighbor bought it....sorry. Baton Rouge is still standing! : ) Tim
